Jon Walters specializes in solo guitar work for any occasion. Jon creates the perfect atmosphere for events of all sizes with his diverse set lists and ambient style. Though his main idiom is classic jazz and standards, Jon can also bring a fresh approach to popular tunes and classical pieces as well. Jon can perform unaccompanied for a warm, ambient, and mood-setting feel (perfect for weddings or more intimate events) or play to quality backing tracks to provide the sound of a full band at the cost of a solo performer. Jon is experienced with all stages of event planning, from working with vendors to performing for wedding ceremonies or just setting a great mood so the party runs smoothly. Jon is a respected local guitarist known for his work with the ensemble the 'Third Coast Jazz Band' and the 12-piece big band 'Swing Shift.' Jon is also available for sub work and regularly sits in with other groups around the San Diego area, in addition to his solo guitar work. Duo/trio and group performances are also available.
